Wrap around provision & Extended day

Wrap around care 30 hours and more

We offer breakfast for children requiring an Early Bird start from 8:00am this is run during term time  as well as during the school holidays. You will be met for a brief “Meet and Greet” each day by the Early shift team.

The children will have their breakfast in the classroom and then join their friends at 8:30 ready to learn and play.

The children spend their core day (8:30-3:30) in the Den with the team of teachers and Early years practitioners.

Lunch is served between 11:45-12:45 in the classroom.

During the term time all lunches are prepared by a catering company and during school holidays children bring  a packed lunch.

After 3:30 the children will attend our after school provision  led by our Late shift practitioners. The hours after school include tea and where the children can rest,  play and have a bit of relaxation time before they go home. They will be served a small cold tea between 4:15-5:00pm collection and handover is at 5:00pm or 6:00pm

Parents who are eligible for 30 hours (15 additional hours of care) can use this facility as well as parents who wish to pay for additional hours care. For more information see our Extended care pack or talk to the office team.

“Staff work hard to make the school a ‘home
from home’ environment, especially for those children who attend for long days and
during the holidays. Children have the opportunity to spend time in the local community.
They visit a nearby café and go to the local library for ‘rhyme time’. Children take part in
an intergenerational project with residents in sheltered housing. This includes doing
jigsaw puzzles and singing songs together and has been a huge success” OFSTED REPORT 2020
